a. Intake Session


€ 50A 60-minute online or in-person session dedicated to exploring your artistic project. This session is intended for commercial or collaborative projects—whether you're interested in custom garments or incorporating fashion as part of a larger world-building process.

Before the session, please prepare any materials or references you’d like to share. You may also request the option to send your files in advance. During our conversation, we’ll delve into your vision and discuss potential directions, blending artistic insight with design and tailoring expertise.

By the end of the session, the designer will outline a working plan, including an estimated timeline and a preliminary breakdown of the production budget.

tela araneae welcomes collaborations across disciplines—performance art, dance, theatre, film, music as well as movement-based practices such as figure skating, gymnastics, and beyond.

  1. The fee for the Intake Session is non-refundable.
  2. You may reschedule up to 48 hours before your booked time.

b. Custom Variation

The Custom Variation service is an optional add-on that includes a 45-minute in-person or online session with the designer to explore personalized variations of tela araneae designs. This may include:

  1. Custom sizing, fit, and length adjustments (pattern size iteration)
  2. Selection of alternative fabric or thread colours
  3. Design modifications (e.g., adding or removing a collar, changing the neckline, altering sleeves, or partial changes in the existing design)

The service also includes:

  1. Production of small samples to preview selected colour combinations before finalizing your choice
  2. Designer consultation and advice
  3. Progress updates throughout the production process

Please note:  The Custom Iteration service fee is non-refundable.

You are welcome to book your visit at the tela araneae atelier in Amsterdam if you want to have a closer look at the designs, find some one-of the-kind garments, try things on and maybe buy your favorite garment on spot or commission one in your size.
